Final Animation; Sneak Preview:
Here I will upload little snippets of my animation by screen shots, then describe what I've done on that particular screen shot. I will also write what I've come up with so far, and also I'll write more in detail as to how I hope my final animation turns out like.
- So far, I took each sentence from my script and then put them into Illustrator separately so it would be easier for my to do the next steps. I copied in my chosen sentence then, went on 'Type' then to 'Create Outlines', this then made it easier for me to group each word specifically so it would be easier again for me to animate once in After Effects. After creating the outlines, I had to group each word together, this made by simply using the command button and 'G'. After all the sentence had been grouped individually, I had to go to the layers palette, and click the 'Release Layers to Sequence' button. This would then create my individual words and put them onto separate layers. After this, I then had to drag each layer out of the top layer, by simply clicking the first layer, and the last whilst holding shift, then dragging above the top layer. Then I saved my work and opened it up in After Effects.
- In After Effects, opened up the chosen AI file and imported it in, I had to press whilst uploading this to be Composition to Release Layers. I then dragged it into my new composition and changed the background from black to white, my composition was on 800 x 600. I then imported in my sound file by finding it in my folder and importing it and then dragging into my timeline. Now I had to be able to sync the speech to the words whilst going across on screen. To do this, I opened up my sound file so you could see the wavelength, this then made it easier for me to be able to see which word is said where. This is quite difficult depending on how fast you narrator is speaking.

- I also created a book, for this animation to be played out of.
For this I got a simple book cover from Google, I then changed the colour of this front cover from red to a nice very light, opaque yellow. I opened it up into After Effects. I gave my composition a black background and again the composition size was on 800 x 600, I then dragged in my book cover. I thought it looked quite bland, so I decided to take it out and open it on into Illustrator, and added my tile page onto it, I thought this gave the whole look a more eerie and a dark feel towards it which was what I was aiming for. I then imported up again into After Effects, with the black background as well. Then I moved it over to the right hand side, I then pressed on the 3D layers, moved the anchor point from the middle to the left hand side then used the y-rotation to make the book look like it was being flipped 180 degrees. I was rather pleased with the final outlook of this small animation.
- I found this rather interesting, and I definitely had to have this within my final outcome for this project. I also thought that given the fact that this is going to be shown to an audience I thought it would be quite engaging and that it would draw people's attention and that it would be quite spectacular for people to see.
