Painting With Light Samples:
Before:
This was an image that I took from google of Halifax's, Piece Hall. For this experiment based work we had to take an image and blend it in with our night time shots. Here, obviously isn't a night time shot, however in Photoshop I was able to manipulate it to make it look like a night time shot. Before:
Here is another image I had taken from google just to help with me getting to understand how it works. I quite like this image it is quite interesting and the composition of it too, looks really interesting. I also like the way how distinct it looks. |
After:
Here I uploaded the image into Photoshop and changed the brightness and contrast. I then uploaded my 'lightning' painting with light and I had to mask it off using the mask tool, then use then paint brush on black to take away the background, thus making the lightning look like it was in the sky, rather than it being super imposed. I also changed how bright the lightning bolts would be. After:
I uploaded the image into Photoshop, then changed the brightness and contrast to make it look rather dark and dull. I then opened up my chosen light image and pasted it in. I again masked it in and took away the background. It was rather hard to get into the little bits of how the light flicked out from the torch. I do rather like this image, except if I had more time I would have used my own images which would have been more beneficial. |
