Getting to grips with After Effects' Animation:
Here to test out the basic animation types in After Effects this was what I was told to create.
Here I started of with Scaling my rectangle first. So I made a large rectangle first, then I pressed the stopwatch to make it set as a key frame.
I carried on with the previous step and made it smaller again.
Here I started with Position, I drew an Ellipse. I pressed the stopwatch so that there was a key frame in the beginning of the animation.
Here my image gets to the top because I pressed stopwatch by moving to the numbers at the right side of this section, this was a total fluke to get the circle near the top.
For this animation I used rotate, I pressed the stopwatch to the numbers at the right side of this section and moved my mouse to the right to make the whole circle move in a rotation.
Here this little animation was for the opacity scale, to do this I simply created a star and pressed the stopwatch to create a key frame. The opacity 90%
Here the opacity now is on 35% from moving the slider on the opacity scale.
Now the opacity is on 53%.
Here I looked back at the animation and it looked really well and interesting, as the opacity gradually falls and then gets brighter.

Here I kept the stopwatch pressed and moved onto the number section at the side to the right, and pressed on these numbers and moved my mouse to the right to make the rectangle smaller.
And the same again, I made the rectangle smaller and I watched this animation and it worked really well.
Here I moved the animation to the right while keeping the stopwatched pressed and moving to the numbers at the right side of this section and moved my mouse to the right to make the whole circle move to the right.
I played my animation back and the circle did eventually move from the right to up.
Here I kept rotating the image to make look more fluid, I did this by doing the same by keeping the stopwatch pressed in.
I played the animation back and it looked really well, and more fluid.
I moved the timeline head to a few seconds after the first key frame and made the opacity less 88%.
Now the opacity was at 6% again, by moving the slider on the opacity scale.
Here it's on 100% and the opacity has obviously gotten brighter.
Here this is the library where you can see what transform tools there are.
