My Idea Generation:
Natural and Nature:
Here is what I think when I hear the words 'Natural' and 'Nature'
Flowers, trees, grass, lakes, sea, rivers, birds, landscapes and Bones.
For this, again I would probably to go to Judy Woods, but look for more interesting and not decaying trees and elements of them, also the flowers would have to be fresh and beautiful.
I quite like the idea of bones for this too, I thought of it in such a way that if pulled off well it could be beautiful and striking.

For my first idea I was thinking of doing an Adam and Eve styled shoot.
For this I would want it to be set in a woodland area with fresh going trees, and lush green grass
For that I'd probably go to Judy Woods, which is near to the beginning of Bradford.
I would be using a male and female model,
For this I would require no piercings or tattoos, as it would spoil the look of the natural theme
I would require that the female would have to have long hair and the male quite short and cropped.
I would want fresh apples to be used as this would make the photograph more appealing and would draw
attention.
I would also, maybe I would use ivy to cover up the models, as this is a natural form and would very interesting
towards the pale bodies.
If this couldn't be accessible I would want the models to wear white clothing as this represents purity.
If I were to do this shoot I think it would be really fun and extremely interesting, especially to work with models and the natural environments which surround us in everyday life. Also I think if I pulled this off really well I personally
think it would be a great photograph, it being so simple, yet beautiful.
This is not going to be one of my final outcomes.

For my second idea I thought of using Bones as it is a natural form.
I would have a model who is rather skinny and can easily see her collarbones, shoulder blades and spine
really well. I quite like the idea of this as it is rather quirky and quite interesting.
I would take a portrait shot of my model from head to her collarbone then in Photoshop
I would mask it off to make it look like the clavicle was indeed, hers. I would also do this again but use the
skull and clavicle in the shot. I think this would look quite vulgar but yet have a raw edgy feel to it as well.
I would also take different styles of photographs, like I would just take a few plain shots of her
easily, noticeable collarbones and ribs maybe. I think it would turn out quite well if pulled off
correctly.
I think this would be a fun, exciting and quirky thing to do hence why this is going to be one of my final outcomes.

For a third idea I thought about using water, for this I'd use a friend who was willing to be my model
for my work. I would preferably want a female with long black / brown hair as I like the effect the hair has
once under the water, as it spreads out and looks really intriguing. I would shoot this in a plain bathtub
filled over half way. I would ask my model to fully submerge herself underneath the water. I like the way this would look as it is really odd yet I think it could be pulled off and look like a fantasy type shot. I'd take a few shots like
this, taking regular intervals for her to see how she's progressing and we can then decide which
photos we like the best.
Also I would ask her once she's submerged if she can quickly breathe, thus producing air bubbles, which would
look quite interesting and again, fantasy like.
I really do like this idea, but I think it would be too time consuming and it would be hard to try and get the correct shots. That's why this is not going to be one of my final outcomes.

For a fourth and final idea I thought about woods, as these are natural and can be quite beautiful.
I would go to Judy Woods and set up a tripod with my camera, I'd take a few standard and minutiae shots which
would aim to please the viewer. I would also take my Cokin blue filter which would make the backgrounds look far more appealing. I would also try a panorama shot by putting it in one position, taking the picture then moving the
camera and taking the picture and again for the third. I would then stitch all these photos together in Photoshop
thus creating the idea of a panorama shot. I like the way panorama shots work as they look really
interesting and it's fun how they work. I would then choose the best six of my edited images to be
used in my final outcomes. I could also try a time lapse shoot of the trees and the shadows the
sun produces during a 15 - 20 minute period. I think that these would look really interesting and have a
real natural edge towards them.
Although I have a strong pull towards this particular shoot, I think I'd best save it for a rainy day. This will not be in one of my final outcomes.

Final Outcome Idea:
My final idea for this Environments project will be based on Bones.
My model will come into college on Thursday 11th October and I will set up my 'Bones' shoot.
In out classroom we have a specified area for studio / portrait work, this studio also has very good lighting so I would have to experiment quickly first then I will be holding my shoot in this section.
I would want my model to wear a bandeau, so it is easily accessible in that I want to photograph her collarbones.
After taking a variety of shots, showing my model how they are turning out and how she can get ideas herself then
we would decide on which, so far, the images that we prefer. I have already taken a few photographs of the skeleton which I will be using then in Photoshop I will mask the collarbones of the skeleton onto those of my models, then
I will blend them together thus creating an interesting and quirky photograph.
I would also like to change the colour of her skin to a much more paler or discoloration. I would also
take a few photographs of her back with her hair up, so I can see her spine sticking out. I think this would look again, very interesting and enchanting and also quite haunting how her bones stick out quite a lot.
I could maybe set up a time lapse going, while I'm busy directing my model and telling her which way to look
and to keep relaxed. I personally think that this would look quite well and could be playing once the examiner's look
at my work. It would also prove that I can do a time lapse myself and that I can use it in a working
based environment.
This is why this will become one of my final outcomes.
