Flip Book:
Here is a few of my flip book animations, that I needed to create for this "Hereos and Villains" project. I had to tie in something that would go in with this particular theme and it was a pretty varied choice for what you could do. Below I have briefly said about what flip book I had created.
The German word for a Flip book is daumenkino which translates to "thumb cinema".

1. The first flip book I did was of, a boat in water. The boat was gradually and peacefully going across the ocean and then mid way through you can see that start of a giant mutant fish, in the end the fish eats the boat and all it's inhabitants I did this flip book onto post it notes too, however you could tell that this was the animation and it was easier to see and it looked like a flip book should. I was pretty happy with this flip book, although I will have to do it again on card as it would be much easier to flip through then it being on flimsy post it note paper.
2. I recently saw in a film which was Sleepy Hollow of a girl twisting a a sort of flip book the correct name was a Thaumatrope, I have done some research on this on my ANIMATIONS PAGE. It was a card circle with string attached at either end, then once she twisted the string, it would make the card move forward and backwards thus revealing what looks like a bird in a cage. However this is not true, there's an image of a bird on side and a cage on the other, and when you twist the string it looks like the bird is already in the cage. I quite liked this idea, but it's not a typical flip book, but I think I'll test it and see how well it does, even if it doesn't go according to plan I still think I'll put it in.
Here is a Deathly Hallows flip book, I rather liked this animation as it was well thought through and was rather impressive. I really liked it also, because of how much time and care had been put into creating this.
