Urban Samples.
Before:
This was taken from the factory near Hipperholme Crossroads. it is a hard to get to location, but it was well worth it. This place was full of very intriguing Graffiti, which was rather interesting to look at and to photograph. Here on the right I have an edited version which looks very bright and captures the eye. Before:
This was also taken in the derelict factory by Hipperholme Crossroads. I again, quite like this image as it has shown the way that the paint it peeling off, and that you can still see some left over tagging and / or Graffiti. I think this is a strong image as it looks really old and that it should art. |
After:
Here I tweaked a little bit of the brightness and contrast to make the image a little more vibrant and brighter. I do rather prefer this version, simply because it looks more brighter and more appealing to the original.
After:
I uploaded this image into Photoshop and again tweaked the brightness and contrast. I personally didn't think it needed a lot of editing / reworking. I liked the image as it was but I needed the Graffiti to be more vibrant and to catch people's eye once the viewer had seen it. I also made the bricks look really old, again by using the brightness and contrast levels. I really like this new shot as I think it adds a certain vibe / depth to the image and looks more appealing to the original. |
